The CREATIVE WORKSHOPS - ROBOTICS&CODING project is one of the Scale Museum's 'Understanding the World' projects for schools.
CREATIVE WORKSHOPS - ROBOTICS&CODING project aims to provide opportunities for setting up creative workshops characterised by a high degree of innovation and modularity in which technology is at the service of creativity and the enhancement of logical and computational thinking.
The project consists of expert interventions in the classroom, operational training for teachers, guided tours of the museum and the setting up of digital laboratories and thematic science libraries in each institute.
Intervention details are defined together with the schools on a case-by-case basis according to specific needs.
- aa.ss. 2019/2020 and 20/21, the project was implemented with further enrichment in the Formigine 2 Education Department with the second, third, fourth and fifth classes and is financed by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio of Modena. The Covid-19 emergency forced the use of integrated and distance learning, which led to a partial redefinition of the interventions and the production of video pills. - a.s. 2018/2019 in consideration of the success of the previous edition, the project was once again implemented with new contents by the Formigine 2 Education Directorate involving the second, third, fourth and fifth classes and was financed by Cassa di Risparmio of Modena
- a.s. 2018/2019 the project was carried out in the second, third, fourth and fifth classes of the IC Montefiorino school, which includes the schools of Montefiorino, Palagano, Frassinoro, Fontanaluccia and Monchio and is financed by the Cassa di Risparmio of Modena
- a.s. 2017/2018 the project was implemented in the Formigine 2 Education Department with the second, third, fourth and fifth classes and is financed by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio of Modena
